[Product description]
It is a forehead of Kosan Ogawa's photo, famous as a first person in the Buddha statue photo.. Work name: "Nakamiyaji Maitreya Bodhisattva"
Photographer Name: Kozo Ogawa (Ogawa Kozo 1928-2016)
In 1928 (Showa 3), he was born in Nara City, Nara Prefecture, who established Asukaen (Nara City) as a photographer specializing in Buddha statues.. My brother, Mitsu -ri, is a professor at Doshisha University. Aspiring to be a painter, studied Japanese paintings and Western paintings at the Institute of Art, Osaka City Museum of Art in 1947. In 1948, I took over the management and shooting of Asukaen from Haruyuki.. In 1950, with the enforcement of the Cultural Property Protection Law, he has been engaged in Buddha statues from all over the country with the commission of the Cultural Property Protection Committee (currently the Agency for Cultural Affairs).. In 1957, the first solo exhibition was held at the Hankyu Department Store in Osaka.. Unlike the monochrome photographs of the father of the father, Haru, Kozo pursued the correct coloring and impactful lighting required for color photos, and after trial and error.
I arrived at the method of shooting a Buddha statue by using a mirror to shoot a Buddha statue.. His main photo books and books are "Asukaen Buddha statue 100 Photos" (Student Co., Ltd. 1980), "Yamato Shurushi" (Shogakukan 1982), "Enchanted Buddha statue" (28 volumes, Mainichi Shimbun.
1986-96), “Mototoke's Face” (4 volumes, Mainichi Shimbun 1989), “Ainori” (Shogakukan 1996), “Kofukuji” (Shinchosha 1997), and “Nara World Heritage Site”
(Shinchosha 2006), "Sankei Color Location Buddha Statue" (Mountain and Valley 2006), etc.. While continuing to take pictures of Nara's landscape and Buddha statues for a lifetime, he was immersed in the research of ancient history, which was also a background where Buddha statues were built from a young age, and "Yamato Shobo,"
In 1973) and "The Mystery of the Yamato Ancient Rituals" (Student Society, 2008), "Yamato's Original Statue", the ritual site and shrine temple are based on the Hibara Shrine in Nara.
We advocated the "path of the sun" that is located in a straight line.. In addition to serving as a director of the Japan Trans -Pacific Society, he has been a lecturer at Aichi Prefectural University of the Arts and Hakuho Women's Junior College.. In 2010 (Heisei 22), at the Nara Prefectural Manyo Cultural Museum, "Photo Exhibition Haru Ogawa and Nara Asukaen Ayumi -Kozo Ogawa / Kanai Mori / Wakamatsu Yasuhiro-". In 2011, the Great East Japan Earthquake Charity "Nara Buddha statue" is held at the Asahi Shimbun Osaka headquarters. Many solo exhibitions were also held overseas.. In 2016, he died due to abandoned plateletization. 88 years old
