◆ Mr. Namegawa has been drawing cats as a motif for 30 years.
In addition to painting, I have expressed cats in various ways such as box art, prints, drawings, and comics.
Born in Tokyo in 1948. Traveled to France to study painting in '74. Received the Japan Cartoonists Association Excellence Award in '82.
89 Commercialized cat characters as the "'a la cat" series.
In 2008, he created the cover of the National Cat Association Year Book. Numerous solo exhibitions.
Galleries that handle his works include "Gallery Nii" (Osaka, Tokyo), "Eda Gallery" (Oita), and "4CATS" (Nagoya).
He is the author of the manga collection "Neko Matata" (Unknown Valley Publishing). Member of the Japan Federation of Artists, Western Painting Club.
