Gibson Melody Maker made in 65, double cut. I got it at this auction a long time ago. Originally, I like Pat Travers, so I got it with that image, but the details are different.. Even with the same double cut, the shape was different before that, and before that, the shape is different, and the 65 -year -old production is closer to SG.. In recent years, vintage guitars have soared, and the SG in the mid -1960s costs 2 million yen for the standard and about 1 million for JR, so I think it is difficult to reach out, but this melody maker uses the same material. It is also recommended for those who want SG but are giving up on the price..
I got it and use it and sometimes the sound is interrupted, so I repaired my guitar (who has a lot of insight and experience in vintage guitars). The accuracy of jack hole processing was poor, and the jack and the body interfered with the shielded state, so we had to fix the hole processing.. At the same time, the processing accuracy of the PU cavity was also poor, so we had to re -process it vertically in the slope of the escalching.. Other pegs were not in good condition, so I had them exchange.. The original pegs are also stored, so that will be included.. In addition, I think that the screw holes are mostly redone (it is usually done in the maintenance, but once the screw hole is filled with a maho round bar and it is newly opened to an accurate position).. I left it to you, so I think it's one of the immediate strength that you can use as it is for the time being..
The condition is almost 60 years ago, so there are scratches, but there is no trace of the neck, and it is functionally good.. Also, I think this guitar is unusual because you can not see any marks with short vy bra.. Although the material is also a stooddent model, the body of Hakaranda is used on the body of Honjulas Mahogany, which is equivalent to the upper model, and the neck, so you can feel the sound of the whole guitar together with a thin body.. His builder was also very surprised.
The PU has a BURST BUCKER 2 on the front and a BURST BUCKER 3 for the rear, so I think it's suitable for hard rock..
The case is a soft case, but it's not cheap, it's pretty sturdy, and can be hung on both shoulders, so I think it's more practical than crocodile cases..
