| D'Addario is pleased to announce the release of a new electric guitar string made of new material, the NYXL series. It is a next-generation string that has improved by 30% in strength, pitch stability, and durability compared to conventional products. The selection of a high-carbon steel alloy as a material, a review of the wire drawing process, and an improvement in the corrosion-resistant tin plating coating were added. The magnetic permeability has been increased by 6%, the output has been increased in the 2-5kHz band, and the sound is more punchy and crunchy. So far, only two generations of electric guitar strings have appeared on the market. Created in the 1950s, D'Addario had its original blend of pure nickel strings with a mellow sound. Later, in the early 1960s, a second generation of nickel-plated steel strings with a brighter sound was released by D'Addario.
