(From Wikipedia) Enterprise (Enterprise, NASA type name: OV-101) is the first Space Shuttle Orbita..In 1976, to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the US Constitution, it was scheduled to be named a concrete, but many letters were delivered to the name of the Space Ship Enterprise in Star Trek.・ This name was given by President R. Ford. However, this enterprise was a glide experimental machine, and it was not the birth of the fans' desired "spacecraft enterprise".. At one point, there was a plan to renovate so that astronauts could be flyed after the glide test, but instead, the challenger was renovated and was forgotten.. Orbita, who went to space for the first time, is Colombia of Unit 2. When the challenger was lost in an explosion accident, the renovation proposal was raised again, but it was judged that it was more appropriate to build a new Endeavor..
