Description of item Inspired by the 1950s~early 1960s, an important golden age and prolific period for Gretsch, the Vintage Select Edition guitar is designed for players who appreciate the "best" of the instrumental tradition. The new G6128T-57 Vintage Select '57 Duo Jet with Bigsby locks its legacy with a sleek and stylish Cadillac green finish with gold hardware. The Duo Jet is Gretsch's flagship "solid-body" guitar line, and introduced in the 1950s, the Chamberd mahogany body resonates the bodytop and the gaps between them, amplifying harmonic richness and achieving a clearer, more distinct tone. At the time, Gretsch was producing a very small number of Duo Jets, but the current model uses gold hardware for a Cadillac green finish. It is equipped with two TV Jones T-Armond PUs that recreate the vintage Dyna Sonic sound. Weight: Approx. 3.56kg
