Traditional Ikat Old Cloth in the Chikka region of Flores, Indonesia
It is a squat (Kasuri weaving) woven (Kasuri weaving) about 40-50 years ago in the shikka prefecture located in the east middle part of Flores Island.. It is a single cylindrical Salun (waist roll) with two pieces. The size is about 172cm long, about 63cm wide. The warp is made of cotton yarn from a factory instead of handle, but the waddy part is handle thread.. You can see some fraying at the two joints, but the condition is good.. Of course, the dye is a natural natural dye.
