Katsumi KTM KP-11 Power Pack Modification Switching Method PWM Control Power Pack
We used the chassis of the Katsumi KP-11 power pack to make a PWM power pack. It looks like a nostalgic tap type, but since it has a built-in PWM control (pulse width modulation) base,
Smooth running is possible from low to high speeds. We use a commercially available DC motor speed controller module. PWM Duty Cycle: 0%-100%, PWM Frequency: 13 Khz
A 12V5A AC adapter is included. The appearance remains the same, and the operation method is almost the same as the Katsumi Power Pack before the modification. Attach the AC adapter jack to the place where the power cord came out, and there is a power switch on it. In order to cope with the large current, the insertion of the AC adapter is hard, so please handle it with care. The AC output terminal (red/black knob) has been changed to a fixed output of 12V DC. Connect the feeder to the rail to the DC output terminal (red knob). The protection circuit cuts off the current if there is a short circuit between the rails on the layout.
If the short circuit is eliminated, it will be automatically restored. The enclosure is used. The operation has been confirmed, but there are no claims for amateur handmade products.
